Finding ways to give back is far from easy. Real life tends to roll in, demanding so much of everyone's time, attention and resources that day-to-day opportunities for good works often slip away. That's why I have been so impressed by the giving that has occurred to date. Friends, neighbors and community members in and around Chicago have contributed to the Southland Athletic Association, but much remains to be done.

Many of the parents of the Chicago Magic Family want to give back to people around them, despite the distracting demands of real life. Or, maybe because of them. Many parents say they contributed to the Southland Athletic Association to be connected to the soccer family. They also realize that there are a number of youth that may never have the opportunity to play for an Elite Soccer Club due to monetary restrictions.

The Club has witnessed this “aha” firsthand. As newcomers to the Club hear about giving back to soccer, they seem to turn right around to an earlier time of barn raisings and communal suppers, when giving back seemed as natural as knowing your neighbors.

Support the soccer community by sending a tax-deductible charitable donation, the association is a 501(c)3, today to:

Chicago Magic Boot Room

Chicago Magic Soccer Club teams have won many local, state, regional, and national championships. While this in itself may be impressive, it goes far beyond winning soccer games.

As part of respecting the game itself, and with the help of your Magic family donations, the Magic delivers new and used indoor and outdoor soccer boots to various needy soccer programs locally, nationally, and internationally. At the Chicago Magic Soccer Club, we believe that helping underprivileged youth play is an important challenge in youth soccer. Help us meet that challenge by contributing to our continuous program called The Boot Room. Send new or clean used indoor or outdoor soccer boots today to:
